motocross type handle bars on CT

I have seen regular motocross bike handle bars on some of CTs in the gallery and I think i'd like to go that direction.

Is there an adapter I need to mount them on my triple tree and mabey what would even fit, xr75 bars ect...

As long as you have a two-piece upper triple (71 and on I believe), you just unbolt the knockdown bar mount piece from the flat plate, and replace it with a set off of a TRX70, or late model CT, or most any other similar setup. Bolts right in and you can use most any 7 1/8" bar.

There is one caveat: the stud spacing is slightly different between folding (K1`78) bar clamps and standard fixed bar mount spacing. The bar knurling will be partially exposed. The fix, if desired, is to either have the holes re-drilled, or source a different top tree. That could either be from a `79 - later model or a billet piece.
