If you're going to be traveling to the boonies you'll want to carry a couple a master links, spare inner tube (or patch kit), maybe spare throttle & clutch cables and wrenches to fit everything on the bike. That's on top of what you already listed. You want to be able to remove the wheels. Chain adjustments are a constant and there's always the possibility of getting a flat tire.
Source a luggage rack and either fashion some sort of package that can be tied down with bungees or fit a top box. With the recent proliferation of scooters, there are a number of top boxes that will fit a CT and can be had cheaply. |

I've been thinking about that too for my 74 ct70 i was even thinking if I could bolt on a top box from an old goldwing on the luggage rack... I need to get groceries from food basics......can only backpack a few bags lol My challenge is I want a topbox and space for a passenger ![]() My CT70 is all about practicality ....i plan on riding it everyday from april to november...
