69 ct-70 - 07-10-2008, 03:39 AM

I have a 69 ct-70 that I want to fix up and sell because if I keep spending money on this thing my wife will leave me! I want it to at least look good when I sell it though, right now it has ugly yellow spray paint on it from when it got stolen when i was a kid. I recently got it up and running, and have fixed all of the plastic light cover and such my question is this should replace all of the cables and I have a buddy who will powder coat it for free should i take him up on it? Obviously I want to get the most I can out of the bike but I also dont want to give someone a piece of crap

If you want the most out of it, I would not powder coat it. I had one of these as a kid and to see them in original form is best but thats just me. If your just gona sell it, I would say go as original as possible or just part it out. Just my $.02 worth.

Good advice. Atleast you can ride the bike when ever you want to.
