kawasaki dirt bike - 10-08-2008, 05:31 PM

hey guys, its been a good summer for riding and now ive found winter a project. Its for sale for 550.00
I was just wondering if anyone has heard of this model? looks like a cool project.

The engine looks like the 100cc engine that Kawasaki stuck in the G5 back in the '70s. It's probably closely related at the very least. I owned a G5 for a few years and it was about indestructable, tho' in the summertime in Phoenix it would occasionally sieze up when I was cruising down the freeway on particularly hot days. I just coasted for 15-20 seconds to allow the cylinder to cool, then dumped the clutch and off it went, every time. I replaced the piston and rings every fall, and honed the cylinder clean, but never bored it.

It's not a Honda, but it certainly could be fun, . . . if you can find parts for it. (That could be a big if.)

Yeah, I think it's somewhere between 90-100cc
It looks like it would be a fun ride street or trails.
parts may be an issue as you said.
