That's near the top of the unobtanium parts list You have two options: find a decent used example or make your own. The former is a lot easier, they're stainless steel. As long as the piece is resasonably straight, it can be brought back to like-new condition with a little bit of skill & lots of patience.

This was one of the hardest items to find (along with the original aluminum decals for the K1), after months of searching I found one from cgf1000@aol.com, Guy Foster. I paid $63 in Jan 06 and it was in excellent shape, he said over the phone he had a couple of em, but its been some time since.

Good Luck

I have one that I recently removed from my '72 resto - project. The trim is in excellent condition and I do not plan to reuse it. Drop me a note if you would be interested in it.

I am looking for the aluminum side decals for my 72 K1 and haven't had much luck. If anyone knows of a place, I would appreciate hearing.

Thank you.

I looked for months and could not find with the original aluminum. I ended up using the 71 aluminum side badges on and put the super thin 72's over them. Looks pretty good, very hard to tell from original. Only other option was to have them custom made and price tag was several hundred dollars. If you find em please post.

Good Luck

That's a good idea. I'll probably do that.
