This information needs to be added by the membership. There are very few people in the USA that have done all the modifications you speak of above and have taken pictures with step by step instructions.

Message forums are meant for everyone to share information together and not have a couple of individuals or individual running the forum provide all of this information to the membership.

You'll find that a minority of the people here provide the majority of the information to the new people. What I would like to see is everyone starting a new thread when they start restoring a bike and provide lots of pictures and details. I think if this is done, it will provide a ton of information to new people getting involved in the hobby.

I don't post up alot of pictures until my bikes are finished, but when they are finished, I'll give them a full technical write up.

A picture is worth a thousand words. And a digital camera costs about 50 bucks now a days.

I'll second that.

I belong to a car club that has an online forum loaded with how-tos submitted and maintained by members. It is an amazing resource to have for newbies and experts alike. Like govsux said, a digital camera is cheap but can provide the equivilant of many pages of info with the click of a button. It'd be great to see more of them on here. Once I get more comfortable with my rebuilds, (I'm currently playing with my 1st!), I'll be creating some to help people thru the issues I come across.

This is a great site... it'll only get better!

I have been taking several photos of my builds that I would love to share but the attach photo system on the site is a bit awkward. On MSN when you go to attach a photo you basically are taken to your own files and don't have to write down or memorize URL#'s. I'll give one a try rightnow to see if it has gotten any easier...

a cut and paste option may also help; wouldn't let me paste.

I'm new to this forum (and minibikes), but I'll chime in a little. I may not have found it yet, but a page dedicated to the years and models of these things would be really helpfull. I'm coming into this with no "2 wheel" knowledge, and have no idea what things like "CT" and "KO" mean. when you get a main page, a link to a pic and short description would be great.

thats just my .02. i love this site, and so far have found lots of invaluable information that will save me a lot of money. keep up the good work!

get a free photobucket account HERE. it really easy to use, and linking pictures is much easier. you load all your pictures onto photobucket once, and link to them easily in your post without having to wait for an upload

Thanks for the info, but when I got to the last step if I were to click the accept terms box I was to get charged $9.99 to my cell phone plus other possible charges.

just don't put in a phone number when you register, its not required. thats only if you want to upload from your phone, which i never do.

i tried it myself just now (just in case something changed since i made mine). no charges. you can pm me anytime and i'll help you through it.
