I love the site and appreciate all the hard work to maintain it and get it going. I am the admin for a small car discussion forum (www.earlyabodyforum.com) and was the creator and admin of a very large discussion forum for years (www.tvclubhouse.com) and I know how much work it is. It can become all encompassing, and you'll never please everyone.
I would like to see a section on Z50's or Z50A's as well. Maybe the board should be just "Honda Trail webboard" ? anyhow, thanks. Neil. |

Tiedgen,How about adding a list of shipping companies to ship these little bikes? Also, maybe you could have a list of parts still available from Honda with part #'s and the one's that are no longer available and also list the changes Honda has made to the new parts vs. NOS parts. This would be a great timesaver for someone hunting parts for a restoration.Just an idea!Great site, keep up the good work. Thanks, Dennis

i definately think that keeping the for sale area is essential. and a section with walkthroughs of restoration projects would be great. the video idea would also be cool. manuals in non-pdf formn would also be very nice. good luck on the transition

Ummm.. hello? Helooo? this thing on? Don't think so. It has been a year and no web page? Or did I miss the new address as planetTrail70.com does not work.
I currently have both a project 1970 Z50k1 and a pair of 72 Trail 70s (projects also) so I would like to see the site contain both if it happens ;-) |

Another CT 70 site has some really useful photos with step by step on how to repair or restore. Some of the people who have done restores may have taken pictures before and after. That would help new people alot. The shop manuals like most lack good detailed photos or devote too much space to other bikes.

you know i would like to first say how much this webboard has helped me so much in my restoration. You guys probably already seen some on my work and questions and i have only had the bike now for about two months and i have had a lot of help through ideas references answers to questions. I have a 77" and parts for this exact year do not come up very often and i just found a wire harness thanx to you guy thanx for all of your support.
but i would like to see restoration tips, videos. tips on how to install things like a cdi conversion or different sprocket configurations with speeds and feedback, such as torque vs. top speed. These wesite are awsome five years ago i had a candy apple red ko and i couldn't find almost any parts or info on restoration or wat could be wrong when it did not start, and i ended up selling it due to moving from state but i wish i did know how what i know now i really regret selling that bike. |
