What Year is it?

Bought a z50 off CL not sure the year,Ser.# z50a161835

I'm not expert at all, but maybe the VIN tag also says when the bike was built? I know the CT70 VIN tags do . . .

But based on the VIN, and using honda50.com's VIN decoder, I'd say it's a 1969 or 1970 Z50K1

I gotta say I'm happy to provide an answer on here, it's a first for me! Even if it's not a really exact answer.

I think I'll go have a beer now, that's worth a celebratory brewskie!
