Looking for a Paintable '78 Front Fender

Has anyone tried to paint the NOS plastic fenders?

I've considered painting a plastic CT70 fender but have serious doubts about paint adhesion on this material. I believe the paint would be too fragile and end up looking like $#!% in short order. If you're thinking of painting a chrome CT70 fender, that can be done with good results. Glass bead blast the chrome before priming and you should be fine. Catalyzed xpoxy primer works best.
