Gas tank issues. -
10-02-2008, 03:36 PM
Isn't there supposed to be a Bracket or something that stabilizes the gas tank?Mine is just sitting in the frame loose and flops back and forth. The gasket on the cap doesn't seem to be very effective either.I noticed on some other lifan ct70 repro's that they have a nice stamped bracket that supports the tank....Has anyone addressed this issue? Thanks. This is on a 2008 lf110gy-3

Well, there's your problem. I might have a spare one in the "endless pile of boxes" out in the storage room. If you're interested I'll dig through them on Saturday and see what I can find. Course it'd be an old CT part.

That would be great!
Im not even sure mine has any of the rubber pads or bands the the real ct's had on the tank. It literally feels like its just sitting in the frame. I could be wrong though. I really need to pull it to see if it has any of the rubber items on it. Get Back with me on the tank bracket though. I Would really like to get one on it. |
