Looking for S90 Parts suppliers - 09-29-2008, 11:16 AM

Dr ATV does not have a lot of S90 parts. Does anyone know of other suppliers?

Also, I see that some parts are not interchangeable across all years of S90. People reference this as (2) classes. Early & Late. What is the distinction? The only thing I can tell is early has a 2 piece exhaust and late is a 1 piece. Are there other differences?

Mine is a 1968 S90. Japenese non-us model. I have the different shaped KMH speedo. It has 5 angles, not the CT70K0 triangle type

The other real differences I believe are the tail lights (larger rounded tail light came out in 68 I believe) and the air cleaner end caps (certain years were white plastic, others were chrome). There may have been some other small things but that is about it as far as I know. Not sure how the Japanese models differed...most if not all had turn signals if I'm not mistaken.

I just got a 1968 S90 a week + ago. It is a non us model. I have the shop manual, but I will probably replace the carb, BUT there are (2) carb models listed on places like eBay. Slant or Inline. I do not know which I have although I am leaning towards "inline" based on the 2 bolt pattern of my intake (mine is diagonal / , not horizontal --)

anyway, if anyone knows for sure, please let me know.

I am also looking for a US supplier or person that has an exhaust for sale as mine came with one from something like an XL70 or SL70 (which i will sale after I get the right one...)

You can check with these guy's, they have in the past been very helpful on parts for other Hondas. Home
Or here, sometimes they have what you need- Cincinnati, Ohio, Honda, Power Equipment, Yamaha, ATV, Generator, Dealer, Used, Parts, Accessories, Apparel

I ran into a guy about 12 years ago who was thinning out his 100+ Honda collection. He had a brand new S90,with the dealer service tags still on it.Needless to say that one was not being thinned. I did buy a nice TL125 from him tho and since he knew I was into the mini's he gave me a original 68 brochure. This guy was also the first I ran into who was buying up old dealer stock.

I have a 67 Cl90 that I'm resto modding. I'm putting a S90 tank on it, the original is pretty much toast. I've stripped it down completely and stripped/cleaned/blasted all the parts. The frame and other things are at a friends house waiting to be painted yellow Imron (free paint). Try here, these guy know everything. Honda-S90 : Honda Super 90 S90 street club.(group). I've always gotten an answer from them, no matter how noob a question it was.

I'll help if I can!

Here's my basket case:

Very nice - it sure takes me back. You're right, tho', . . . the SL70 exhaust has to go.
