3sp vs 4spd frame differences

Hi

I'm in the middle of restoring my 69 KO. It's an addicting hobby, hence my question. I have a line on a 70 4spd engine as well as a 70 3spd frame and was wondering if there are any difference between a 3spd and 4sp frame that I'm not aware of? Excuse my ignorance as I'm kind of new to the hobby.

4-speed engine serial numbers begin "CT70HE" and 4-speed frames have VINs beginning with "CT70H-". HK0s were produced in 1970 & 71; HK1s in 1972, that's it. The 4-speed H-model wasn't introduced until `70.

The only difference between KO and HKO frames is the serial number. CT70-XXXXXX and CT70HXXXXXX. Converting a KO bike to accept a 4 speed motor is relitively easy. (Install a clutch cable in the place of the rear brake cable, install 45 tooth rear sprocket, install a spacer in place of the rear brake wire arm, and install a clutch cable guide on the right hand carburetor manifold bolt.

Also the airbox is different for the 4 speed models cause there is no rear brake cable guide on them and the speedo will be different also.
